What are dentures?

Removable replacements for lost teeth.

Dentures are removable oral appliances that are used to replace multiple missing teeth. For patients missing several or all of their teeth, dentures might be just what is needed to restore your smile to its full glory. Dentures improve your speech and eating abilities, enhance natural facial volume, and restore the overall beauty of your smile. Each set of dentures is customized to fit your smile comfortably, aesthetically, and securely.

For patients missing one or more permanent teeth, Dr. Piero may suggest and provide dentures. At our Holland, Michigan office, we offer both full and partial dentures to meet our patients’ needs.

Full or partial dentures

Depending on your needs.

A partial denture is used when some teeth are missing, but the patient still has some of their natural teeth. A partial denture typically includes a thin framework which attaches to the remaining natural teeth.

A complete denture replaces all the teeth in the dental arch. A complete denture may be recommended to replace all of the teeth in one or both arches, depending on your individual needs.

Flex-Partial Dentures

We offer this brand new denture at our office.

The most common patients receiving dental sealants are children, typically on their permanent molars once they have grown in, which usually occurs between the ages of 6 and 12. We may also recommend sealants for adult patients whose teeth are prone to decay, have suffered past decay, or haven’t been adequately restored. We apply dental sealants in a simple, single visit to our practice. Sealants are one of the best tools for preventing decay and keeping your smile healthy.
